How to use Communities Main Feed and Explore Page

Overview

Communities enables you to establish a dedicated space where Investors, Entrepreneurs, and Internal Users can engage with each other. Not only facilitating interaction, but also serves as a way to promote upcoming Events, Deals, and important information.

If you're interested in enabling the Communities function on your platform, please don't hesitate to reach out to your Account Manager.

How to access Communities and general overview 

Starting on the home page. Click the hamburger icon (≡) to open the menu. The menu opens in a left-hand sidebar.

Select Communities from the menu. This will direct you to the Communities page.

Note: If this is your first time accessing Communities, you'll be prompted to create a new profile.

This will open the Community Main Feed. This page offers several features, including:

• A quick overview of your profile

• Access to the Explore function

• Viewing public posts, including News and Events

• General posts

• Basic deal information for select Deals

• Share a post

• Interaction with other posts (e.g., liking, commenting, expressing interest in Events)

• A convenient view of Communities you're currently a member of.

How to create a post on Communities

To create a post, click on the text box located at the top of the feed.

Here you can:

• Input text

• Upload files (including documents and images)

• Share URLs to other websites

• Create an event post by selecting the calendar icon (including event details such as date and location)

• Create a deal post by selecting the dollar icon (a summary of a deal to attract interest from other users)

How to interact with a post on Communities

To engage with a post, at the bottom section of any individual post on the Community Main Feed, you'll find options to like the post by selecting the thumb icon or to comment on it using the text box.

How to access the Explore function

The Explore page serves as an area to discover various types of Communities, Deals, Events, and Individuals within the platform. It offers an opportunity to broaden your understanding across different domains and expand your network.

The Explore page is accessible from the left-hand side menu on the Community Main Feed page. 

Select any of the options listed under the Explore section to navigate to the desired page.

The Explore page allows you to browse through all Communities, Deals, Events, and Individuals within the platform's community. 

You can refine the page's contents using the search bar, selecting specific categories, applying a date range, or sorting the search results.
