How to disable and enable Investors

Overview:


If an investor enters incorrect login credentials three consecutive times, access to the platform will be disabled. Additionally, as a business, you may find it necessary to disable access for specific investors. 


If an investor’s login becomes disabled, you can re-enable it at any time.

How to access the manage investor page


Click the hamburger icon () located at the top left corner of the screen to open the menu. This will reveal a left-hand sidebar menu.

Within the menu, select the Investor tab, which can be found under the Manage section.

How to disable an investor 


Once on the Manage Investors page of your platform, select the investor that you would like to disable.


Click on the investor you would like to disable.


After selecting the investor, you will be redirected to a new page where you can manage that investor. Click on the Manage button at the top.

Click the Disable Investor button on the left-hand side of your screen.

A pop-up will appear, asking whether you would like to notify the user and remove them from the distribution list. Select your preferred options, then click on the Disable button.

A pop-up confirmation will appear in the right-hand corner, confirming that the investor has been disabled.

How to re-enable an investor 


Once on the Manage Investors page of your platform, select the investor that you would like to re-enable.


Click on the investor you would like to enable.


After selecting the investor, you will be redirected to a new page where you can manage that investor. Click on the Manage button at the top.

Next, click the Enable Investor button on the left-hand side of your screen.

A pop-up will appear, asking whether you would like to notify the user, send a password reset, or send no notification. Select your preferred options, then click on the Enable button.
